The importer needs to pay a "deposit" in advance to ensure that the importer can be responsible for possible failures and compensation issues after the goods enter customs. Generally, importers usually ask local US customs brokers to pay the deposit on their behalf to simplify the process, which can save the importer's time and manpower. Here is charging method:

Annual bond for $500 USD, or

Single bond to be paid, 5 usd from 1000 USD invoice.

ISF single bond $75-100 USD for LCL, $125 USD for FCL.

The shipping costs in the latter part of the journey vary significantly in the United States. Each state has different regulations. Therefore, it's crucial to find a good freight forwarder to save your own time.

Also, finding a familiar customs clearance and register service can be a good way to save your important time and effort, even though it might incur slightly higher costs. Compared to the risk of goods being detained at customs or even destroyed and spending a lot of time and effort by yourself, it's likely to be very worthwhile.
